Vibrating Platform: Myths and Truths
"And what about the platforms that vibrate?" I asked a friend ... That's an excellent question, because they are becoming popular and there are more brands that promote them and I gave myself the task of investigating them.
There are many people who think that these platforms are a fraud, I personally was not sure, because they can not conceive of a home exercise to have the same or greater impact exercise outdoors. Nor can I even think that 15 minutes of exercise, can have good results.
The first point is to recognize that not everything that glitters is gold, and that these devices are not a miracle. Its operation is very simple, because the person gets on the platform in different positions and emit waves through the body to tense muscles and stronger.
From the moment that they're above the platform tense muscles and the heart beats faster. There are a couple of points that are not seen but at the time are shown, such as improved metabolism, hormone secretion and improvement of central and peripheral nervous system.
Another important question is: Do they work to lose weight?
Eye worst myth about these platforms is that just stand there going to reduce size, and that's a lie. I have seen advertising 5 platforms in different countries and in all of them mentions a manual with positions that you do to that result.
In Mexico there are several platforms such as Bio Shaker, Crazy fit (I leave a couple of sites where the sites can be found and officers) and others, but all require that you use at least 3 times the week and at least 15 20 minutes a day and always using the positions and routines recommended, if only you stand in them, definitely will not do you any good.
