Cordoba: Its Culture

I go with curiosity to comment on that of the culture of that city.

One comment I found very interesting.

And the next.

"In what has been noticed that Salamanca has been the capital of European culture."

The rest of the comments, more or less influenced by what is called political correctness.

The speaker of Salamanca, I think that makes a correlation between cause and effect.

Córdoba should be held this July, the memory of when the army launched in North? Africa, to succumb to a corrupt regime, ruled by incompetent, treacherous, and so on.

The day was July 17.

It happened 1300 years ago and fell in Guadalete Visigoths, or perhaps in the Janda, and that was the beginning of the Caliphate of Córdoba, which many feel so proud.

Today you do not need any army.

There are other instruments. The vote.

Although incompetent, traitors, etc. are many. In the lagoon of La Janda, so were spent contrary.

Leave aside some shows and support the culture.

Baroja, we defined as the Discrete Fair, stop being discreet, and we support everything that contributes to raising the cultural level of all the inhabitants of Cordova, and we know that the head is used for many things, and not only to carry berets, more or less pompous.

Being culturally someone, do not give it nor politics nor markets, nor ... .... anyone, is something that only belongs to one.

Live Córdoba, although as always in second division, and bankruptcy. I refer to Córdoba C.F.

I forgot, before Cordoba was said of a thousand bars and a single library. Of course the library is referred to the "Library Luque," which was located on Calle Gondomar, and also had his printing press, in a callejita that existed at that time in that street.

The library was very curious, because it was a society or anonymous, or limited, it was a limited partnership, limited partnership it to my attention, but it seems that this legal figure has disappeared or is now used less.

The bookstore ran Luque's widow who was always in the box, and lived in the Garden of the Arches, a privileged place. Her husband was one of those killed in these difficult times in the first half of the twentieth century.

The library was an entirely cultural, inside was accessible to the reading of books absolutely prohibited at that time, similar to what is narrated in the film "Fahrenheit 451". Not sure but the number is quoted in the film is the flash point of paper. The film is an apologia for the defense of culture. Not everyone accessed the interior.

So while in Cordoba had a single library, there was a defense of culture far above other places. The taverns have declined, there are more bookstores, bars restaurants have become, and that have led other cities, with more success by what you see, but the culture remains property of Cordoba for everything reported in this paper.
