The 8 Golden Rules for Web Site Optimization

There are several reasons why you should make a website optimization of your priorities and why you should make sure to take seriously. A website that takes ages to load for example, will make your visitors leave before they had the change to see what you have to offer.

That's why I want you to get some 'of your precious time and check the 8 golden rules for optimization of the website that I listed here. I can assure you that it will be an important test for those of you who want to give their visitors an experience they will remember in a positive way.

1. Content is king.

You've probably heard before, but I can assure you it is true. The main reasons why you want to provide decent content is to stand out from the rest. The people who visit your site will actually be surprised with the quality of content and spread the word for you.

2. Load Time of your web pages.

Although a lot of surfers have access to high-speed Internet connections will be surprised what percentage are still using a dialup connection and modem to go online. At least for these people you need to ensure that web pages load within 30 seconds. using a 56k modem. Do not forget that most people are impatient and not wait for your web pages to load.

3. Creating Killer Titles for each page.

Your main web page may be the most visited page of your website and also the one that comes in the search results more often, but certainly do not want to forget the other pages.

Imagine being lucky enough to have some of your web pages displayed in search results. What sense does it do if no one clicks because of a bad title. Be sure to include your main keyword of the web page in particular the title.

4. Create a description explaining the content of this page.

What goes for the title also applies to the meta description tag. You must ensure that each page has a clear description by which the search engine traffic immediately understand what the web page will be about. Keep in mind that not all search engines display the description in their listings, but you still want to get this right for those who do.

5. Make sure your internal links work.

Nothing is more annoying when you visit a web site so that internal links do not work. Download links that no longer work, links to internal pages where you get a 404 error message, these are things that you absolutely want to avoid at all times if you want to be taken seriously.

6. Update your content on a regular basis.

After creating a website that invites people to pay a return visit for the quality of your website, you want to make sure that you refresh (update) your content on a regular basis. I do not mean that you should rewrite the complete website, but for a decent website optimization you might want to include the content to update automatically as a guestbook, forum, or an RSS feed items.

7. Use only two or three main keywords per page.

A website will be fully optimized each page optimized for only two or three main keywords. Use these keywords in h1tags, make sure that your keywords (or similar keywords) is published every two paragraphs of the web page, and make sure that your last line of the body of the text will have at least one of the two key words embedded.

8. Get One Way Links many possible input.

Reciprocal linking still works, but is not as important to your search engine rankings as more than once, if you really want to be found in the search engines you need to take your website optimization to the next level. You need to become a king so connected.

Write articles and submit them to every article directory you can find. Be sure to include the article on your website before and a little 'change it before submitting it to article directories.

Submit your site to every single directory you can find. I would advise to use only those that accept free contributions. Keep in mind that this is a work in progress and could take several weeks before the site is included.

Be inventive and come up with ideas that will help you get your website link on other websites with high traffic in your market. Not everything has to be copied, you're smart enough to yourself to come up with ideas.

Well, as you probably realized by now, website optimization is really a work in progress and should be taken very seriously when you want to get listed on the first pages in search engines and get all that free traffic .......
