How to Play PSP Download Games

Like many others who had purchased original PSP games from the stores, you will realize that the game is completed, buying new games seem to be increasingly expensive and inaccessible. What else can I do if I want to keep playing new or old fashioned on my PSP? I start searching and looking for website that offers free download games for PSP.

Once I downloaded PSP games on my console, how to play PSP download games was my next question. I do not know exactly how it works when you download new PSP games on the PSP group, but I'm sure you found a little '
answers, as I was looking for. Since I'm facing and struggling with this problem of how to play downloaded PSP games on my machine, a lot of other people must also be always the same problem.

I hope I get this right for everyone to play PSP download games because I used the same method here to play on my console. Before you begin, I'm using a PSP unit with firmware 1.5 and have a Sony PSP
compatible with Memory Stick PRO Duo.

Since you are going to download PSP games, download games for the correct version of firmware, if it does not work. Latest version of firmware is available to anyone from the official PSP site. Most homebrew PSP games works only with firmware 1.5 and below, because the latest firmware update is trying to stop people from using homebrew games. Make sure that the games you download ends with PSP because only PSP files are compatible with the Sony PSP unit.

And for the firmware upgrade at any time, you may need to download a newer version of the games to be compatible with the firmware. Otherwise, error messages like "The data is corrupted" or "The game could not have been started" will be displayed on the PSP screen.

Once the PSP games are downloaded, connect your PSP to your computer via the USB cable that came with the PSP. Change your PSP console into PSP mode by pressing the "Home". Next on the left to scroll
the column "Settings" and scroll down to "USB Connection". Press the "X" button to enter PSP into USB mode.

To download PSP games console, the games must be downloaded and copied to the correct folder so that the games work. And the correct path is PSP GAME> for all the games for the PSP to run correctly. If the "PSP" folder and "GAME" does not exist on your PSP memory stick, you must manually create the folder with the folder name in CAPS.

Once you've finished downloading or transferring PSP games on your memory stick, you can disconnect the PSP from your computer. PSP console main menu, scroll to the column "GAME" on your Sony
PSP and continue to scroll down on the Memory Stick. Press "X" and a list of game files will be displayed. Scroll down and you will be able to see the games that you just installed.

Press "X" to confirm your selection and play PSP games. I tried to practice the steps above many times in my PSP and it worked all the time. Hopefully it will work for your console too .......
