Why the 1 Cent Auction is killing the eBay eBook market

MYTH * 1 *

Selling 1p eBooks are ideal for sales and sales of the backend of the site.

Total nonsense! She honestly believes that people who pay for a 1p eBooks will bother to read it? Maybe 5%. But this means that you must sell 100 just to get 5 visitors to your web site.

Not only that, but the buyers of e-book freebie 1p applicants are not willing to loosen the purse strings so to speak. If you're selling an eBook only € 5 on your website, can you really imagine that they whip the plastic?

The main reason people buy eBooks 1p is to build points of feedback, are not going to take a second look at your eBook.

Instead, consider a SEO work on your site, write articles, submit to search engines, create a viral eBook for free, participate in joint ventures, participate in giveaway promotions, get reciprocal links, invest in an affiliate program, the files on Mr. forum, (do not spam) pay per click advertising, create a newsletter, and the most important of all - continue to add more content to your site.

MYTH * 2 *

Selling 1p eBooks are ideal for building a strong, positive feedback.

No, wrong again! eBayers are not stupid. They will see that you are selling hundreds of items for 1p and know the feedback that will be disappointed.

In addition, most buyers are not going to worry about leaving feedback for a purchase 1p, especially if it is of poor quality.

Instead, invest in some of the resale rights products you can sell it for £ 2 - £ 3 - £ 4 and make a few sales each day CONSTANTS. If you only make 3 sales from one product a day and have 15 products that you sell, then this is the profit potential is excellent and is building a solid, positive feedback that will be respected by members of eBay.

* Myth 3 *

Selling 1p eBooks will make me a power seller on eBay and earn my respect by the eBay community.

eBay have presented some guidelines for entitlement to power seller status.

To qualify, members must:

Ø support the eBay community values, including respect for honesty, timeliness and mutual

average or a minimum of £ 750 in sales per month, for three consecutive months

o achieve an overall score of 100 feedback, of which 98% or more is positive

O was an active member for 90 days

or have an account in good financial

o Do not violate the policies in a serious period of 60 days

or not to violate three or more of any policy of eBay in a period of 60 days

Ø Maintain a minimum of four lists monthly average over the last three months

Watch the second requirement.

Now, I'm not a mathematician and I do not have a calculator handy, but I work outside in the sense that you should do at least 75,000 sales (more or less to 0) every month for the rest of your career to keep your eBay power seller status.

First, selling 75000 units per month is impossible, and secondly, can you imagine dealing with all questions from buyers, re-sending of e-books that have been failed by your automation system (if you provides automation) and leaving feedback. Dealing with many of these customers would be impossible and your inability to respond to e-mail quickly and re-send items could easily lead to negative feedback - then further disqualified from being a power seller.

"Reaching a feedback score of 100, of which 98% or more is good" ......
