Yukteswar

Overview, history

While we have life, we know our responsibility to not only feed the physical body but the spirit. Care, provide the food necessary to enable us to act within the moral. The transcendent and to ensure our spiritual growth. How long is that the transcendental.

Fortunately we have traveled before teachers, beings who were awake during their transit through this dimension and thanks to your attention, learning, mission, have given us valuable lessons, which become very decisive contributions towards our spiritual evolution when understand its scope and its contents put into practice.

One of the great passers who are called master, Swami Sri Yukteswar Giri is (May 10, 1855 - March 9, 1936) was a Bengali yogi, Jyotisha (Vedic astrologer), and promoter of the Bhagavad Gita and a particular vision of the Christian Bible. His disciple Yogananda in his book Autobiography of a Yogi recounts many amazing miracles Yukteswar. For example, was known to be telepathic or have the gift of ubiquity (the ability to appear in two places at once).

Wikipedia reminds us of him, that his name was Priyanath Karar, and came from a wealthy family. Born in Serampore -15 km north of Calcutta (in Bengal, India), son of Kshetra Nath Karar and Kadambini. Priyanath Ksetranath lost his father at a young age, and assumed many responsibilities in the management of the lands of his family.

It was a brilliant student and passed the entrance exams in Serampore Christian Missionary School, where he developed his interest in the Bible. He also attended the Calcutta School of Medicine. After graduating, Priyanath married and had a daughter. His wife died a few years after marriage, so he stopped living with her daughter and joined the monastic order of the Swamis

It is said that in 1884, Sri Yukteswar (29 years) met Lahiri Mahasaya of Varanasi (Benares), whom she adopted as a guru. This will begin on the path of Kriya? yoga and Giri branch of the swami order of monks. Yukteswar spent several years with his guru, and later, when he stopped living with him, he often visited the holy city of Varanasi.

In 1894, while attending the Kumbha Mela (gathering of yogis from all over India generally held every twelve years) in Allahabad, he met his param-guru (teacher's teacher), called Mahavatar Babaji. Viewing Yukteswar interest in the Bible, Mahavatar suggested he write a book unifying the beliefs of the Christian Bible with yoga. At that meeting, Mahavatar Babaji went several times with the title Yukteswar Swami Yukteswar took it as a tribute to his spiritual advancement, and adopted since. That same year (1894) wrote the book called by his paramgurú. He called Kaivalya darsanam ('teaching only' or 'the doctrine of the same'), called in Spanish The Holy Science.

In 1910 Yukteswar met the young Mukunda Lal Ghosh (17 years) of Calcutta, who later would become his most known, and Paramahansa Yogananda autobautizaría propagate the doctrine of Kriya? yoga worldwide. In his book Autobiography of a Yogi, Yukteswar describes his teacher as a Jnana-avatar 'embodiment of wisdom'). Yogananda attributed the small number of disciples of Yukteswar on strict training methods, which Yogananda said "no more than could be described as dramatic." Most of his disciples deserted him a few years together. He just had a few disciples who stayed with him for some time:

Mukunda Lal Ghosh (Paramhansa Yogananda, 1893-1952, author of Autobiography of a Yogi. Swami Satyananda Giri. Sailendra Bejoy Sri Dasgupta (www.yoganiketan.com). Swami Narayana Giri (Prabhuji) Swami Shankarananda (chief disciple of the former, which now teaches Kriya? yoga in the same way that taught Lahiri Mahasaya and Sri Yukteswar

Specifically, Paramahansa Yogananda, in his "Autobiography of a Yogi" that Yukteswarji married and had a daughter, but soon became a widower and his daughter also died

Several sources say. Yukteswar that began in the spiritual life and was a disciple of Charan Lahiri, known as Lahiri Mahasaya, who initiated him into Kriya Yoga.

Paramahansa Yogananda also indicates that he met Babaji, the guru of his own spiritual master during a Kumbha Mela (religious festival held periodically in India) in 1894 when it was still Yukteswarji layman. The authors said that Babaji then instructed him to write "The Holy Science", in order to compare Christianity and Hinduism.

He founded several ashrams or monasteries where spiritually formed monastic and lay disciples. He gave monastic vows Paramahansa Yogananda

We are told that Swami Sri Yukteswar Emanation firm maintains its back-up and care to what is developing through the consciousness of Mother Shaktiananda. His support from the inner planes as part of the Masters in attendance is critical for the Order and renounced to the same mother, who has acknowledged the firmness and strength of Sri Yukteswar one of the most beautiful ways of expressing unconditional love.

Gives us, ordenshaktiananda.com, that the message below was issued from Sri Shaktiananda Consciousness in conjunction with Sri Yukteswar Giri, who docked his feelings and his Guide to the disciples of the Mother.

"It's the first time that I grant myself the privilege of experiencing a beautiful recreation of the projection of an extraordinary light. I think that given the circumstances I had to give this present to say: Trust.

Some will feel foreign to say few words, the establishment is done today in this country of an order, which many others also, is an important point in what is done.

Signs have today marked the living Earth processes is a difficult time. When it has not? It is the testimony of man that can lead us to know so many episodes that humanity has lived to carry the Plan of Love

Should be more attentive to your loved each event experience, so as to express what each wine is and has done.

I welcome the assistance, seeking to leave you with this question: Do you believe in Mahavatar Babaji?

My glory, my faith, my relationship with God is held to the Immortality of Being young in his quest to want to be, and I wonder how long it takes and saying to God.

Keep your confidence, do not let your intellect destroys what little or much truth now are able to show you.

It is important, but well made you believe, you believe in the Mahavatar.

You know what I mean? Because of your fear.

So, if I may, rebuilt the question:

Do you believe in yourself? My dear brothers, my loving brothers, trust.

In humble service. "
