Ethanol futures for Mexico

Monterrey, Mexico .- The industrial Monterrey, Alberto Santos de Hoyos said recently that a European bank is willing to invest 12 billion dollars in the Mexican countryside to produce ethanol.

To this end, the bank needs the project to be associated with farmers giving their land and receive in exchange for 40 percent of the shares of the company that was set up.

Current legislation does not allow this type of trading and Santos de Hoyos said that the law is archaic and goes against modernism that prevails in this matter in other parts of the world.

Also argues that the PRI politician would create two million jobs and produce enough ethanol to save the Mexican government of $ 5 billion annually in gasoline imports.

Santos de Hoyos, in the early nineties initiated a partnership with the Ejido Vaquerías farmers in the State of Nuevo Leon.

And it was the stubbornness of the peasants who finished the novel ending association.

Mexico suffers annual migration of 450 000 Mexicans, primarily in the field, which will work in the fields of America.

The Santos de Hoyos proposal is in the air and what is seen, there is no echo in the Federal Government that mining is the PAN.

In 1994, President Carlos Salinas de Gortari said the Pro field was valid for 15 years. Where are the policies to revive the Mexican countryside?
